This three day long event kicks off in Arcata every year in May and travels all the way down to Ferndale. Over those three days, participants race giant, mobile sculptures that they’ve spent all year crafting over land, sand, water, and mud! Spectators can enjoy the whimsical sculptures, costumes of those racing, and vote for their favorite teams! It’s one of Humboldt’s most iconic events!
