The 20^th Annual Buddy Brown Blues Festival at Perigot Park, Blue Lake, CA. The festival was cancelled last year due to Covid restrictions. Gate opens at 10:30 A.M. and five acts perform hourly until 6:30 P.M: Black Sage Runners, The Uptown Kings, Jim Lahman Band, Buddy Reed & the Rip It Ups, Mojo Rockers, and Back Seat Drivers. Tickets are $15 and $12 for HFS member, and can be purchased at the gate. August 6th, once again at Perigot Park in Blue Lake, starting at 11 AM.

The Folklife Society is seeking volunteers who will receive a Folklife beverage cup for four hours of volunteering. Interested community members can volunteer by emailing anne.g.kinne@gmail.com. For over 40 years, the Humboldt Folklife Society has existed to teach, celebrate, and encourage participation in folk and traditional arts.
